Jenni Fagan wrote TRUTH whilst travelling across the USA in 2017, taking in New York, Woodstock, Detroit, Michigan, Chicago, Oregon, Crater Lake, Redwoods, San Francisco, grifter towns, LA, San Diego. This road trip was part of the Outriders Project via Edinburgh International Book Festival. Ms Fagan's journey led her to consider questions on the nature of truth, be that personal, philosophical or political. This is the result.

Nine full colour photographs punctuate the text. Lettered edition includes an additional image.

Jenni Fagan is an author, poet, screenwriter, essayist and a playwright. She has won awards from Arts Council England, Dewar Arts, and Scottish Screen, among others. She has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize, the Desmond Elliott Prize and the James Tait Black Prize, and has written for BBC Radio 4, The New York Times, the Independent, and Marie Claire. She recently completed the screenplay of her debut novel The Panopticon which will be going into production later this year.
