John Dorsey is the most prolific poet of his generation. Since the early 1990s, his work has appeared in more than 2000 print magazines and anthologies. He is the author of fifty collections of poetry, including Teaching the Dead to Sing, The Outlaw’s Prayer, Sodomy is a City in New Jersey, Tombstone Factory and Natural Selection: Early Poems. At the last count, his work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize eleven times.
