John Dorsey is the most prolific poet of his generation. Since the early 1990s, his work has appeared in more than 3000 print magazines and anthologies. He is the author of around 100 collections of poetry, including, Sodomy is a City in New Jersey, Tombstone Factory, Sundown at the Redneck Carnival, Maple Leaf Zen and Pocatello Wildflower. He is the former Poet Laureate of Belle, Missouri. At the last count, his work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize more than fifteen times.
