underground poems • mick guffan • roughsleeper • poetry broadside
Underground Poems is an erratic series of signed, limited edition, large format poetry broadsides, which some say bear a passing similarity to other more commercially minded posters found dotted around London's transport system. This is pure coincidence, of course.
'Roughsleeper' by the late Mick Guffan (1953-2006) is #2 in the series. The poem was first published in Heathcote Williams' International Times.
Designed by Mick Khartoum and signed & numbered by him in pencil.
"'Roughsleeper' is a wonderful poem."
